A light, fluffy frosting that tastes like summer and beautifully complements cakes and cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1/4 cup strawberry puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter by beating it on medium speed until creamy, about 2 minutes.
  2. Incorporate the powdered sugar gradually on low speed until it’s fully mixed.
  3. Add the strawberry puree, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, then increase the mixer speed to medium.
  4. Whip for 3 to 4 minutes until the frosting is light and fluffy.
  5. Adjust the consistency with heavy cream if needed.
  6. Frost immediately or chill briefly before using.

Notes

Ensure butter is at room temperature and sift powdered sugar to avoid lumps. You can customize the berry puree for variations.
