Crispy, golden-brown chicken tenders made in an air fryer for a healthier twist on a classic comfort food.

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Beat the egg in another bowl until well mixed.
  4. Dip each chicken tender into the egg, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Coat each tender with the breadcrumb mixture, patting it on to ensure it sticks.
  6. Prepare the air fryer basket by lightly spraying it with olive oil.
  7. Arrange the chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and fully cooked.
  9. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
