Fun, sweet Marshmallow Easter Eggs that are easy to make and customizable for Easter celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of marshmallows
  • 2 cups of powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Food coloring (pastel colors)
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the marshmallows and butter together in the microwave until bubbly, stirring every 30 seconds.
  2. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Add the powdered sugar gradually until a dough forms. If desired, separate the dough into bowls and add food coloring to each.
  4. Shape the dough into egg shapes and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Let them cool and set for about an hour.
  6. Decorate with sprinkles before they completely set if desired.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. Can be refrigerated for longer storage.
