Delightful cookies combining the rich flavors of cheesecake with the sweetness of caramel, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Beat together the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  3. Add the brown sugar and granulated sugar, and mix until combined.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add to the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Fold in the salted caramel sauce and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with sea salt.
  10. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese and butter are at room temperature for easier mixing. Add a sprinkle of flaky sea salt just before serving for extra flavor.
