A simple and quick recipe for making delicious Strawberry Freezer Jam that preserves the fresh taste of strawberries without cooking.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed strawberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 packet fruit pectin
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Mix the mashed strawberries with sugar and lemon juice. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Combine the water and fruit pectin in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until dissolved.
  3. Pour the pectin mixture into the strawberry mixture and stir for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour into jars, leaving some space at the top.
  5. Seal and let the jam sit at room temperature for 24 hours, then store in the fridge or freezer.

Notes

Use fresh and ripe strawberries for the best flavor. Adjust the sugar to taste.
